As Director of the Centre for Marine Science, the successful candidate will facilitate the full range of interdisciplinary interactions across the university, with the goal of further establishing UQ as an international leader in solution focussed approaches to the future global challenges society is facing in marine science.
Key to the role success will be an ability to drive innovation across UQ’s broad research capabilities and to enable engagement with national and international partnerships in industry, government, philanthropy and Indigenous communities.
Alongside providing strategic leadership and governance of the Heron Island Research Station, the Moreton Bay Research Station and boating and diving at the University, the successful applicant will:
